Every entry is categorized and attributed to the logging team member.
Active Wood Consumption Tracking Unlike traditional inventory systems, WoodFirePro tracks wood as it goes into the kiln in real-time. Monitor species usage, piece sizes, quantities, and firebox locations while analyzing consumption patterns throughout different firing phases.
Visual Kiln Mapping An interactive grid system represents your kiln interior, allowing team members to update cone status across multiple positions. The system tracks cone progression with color-coded indicators and maintains a complete history of changes with timestamps.
Team Collaboration Tools Comprehensive crew management supports various roles from Kiln Master to Students. Track shift changes, monitor who logged which entries, and maintain clear communication across the firing team with role-based responsibility assignment.

WoodFirePro emerged from careful analysis of handwritten wood firing logs from experienced ceramic artists. By studying real firing documentation patterns, we identified the essential information potters track and the decision-making processes they follow.
The interface design prioritizes the expertise and intuition of the kiln master while providing digital tools that enhance rather than replace traditional knowledge. Every feature was developed based on actual firing log patterns and tested workflows.

Post-Firing Analysis Export complete firing documentation, analyze temperature curves and firing progression, review wood consumption patterns, and archive successful firing data for future reference and comparison.
