Even when electric firing, using different firing schedules, holds, cooling techniques, and much more can make your pots more exciting to create and enjoy. I am taking down a wood kiln to have it moved to my pottery studio. I fired Ana a few times way back in 2000- 2001. She was then moved to this current location in 2010 and reconstructed in 2011. Way back at University, I had no idea she would one day be mine. Here I show the Tatami bricks that made up the covering for the fire box.
