What Members Receive
Each quarter you receive one handmade pottery piece valued at $50 or more — a mug, bowl, shave bowl, bonsai pot, or specialty piece from that season’s studio work. Whatever came out of the kiln and was worth sending.
Every piece ships with:
- A signed certificate of authenticity — the same COA that ships with every Creek Road Pottery piece
- A handwritten note from Al — what the piece is, how it was made, what firing it came from, and what he was thinking about when he made it
- Shipping included — no surprise charges
- First look at new work — before it goes anywhere else
The Price
$50 per quarter — billed every three months.
That’s $200 a year for four handmade pottery pieces, each valued at $50 or more, shipped to your door. A comparable handmade stoneware piece from a studio potter runs $45–100 on Etsy — not including shipping.
The Creek Road Collectors Club is $50 per piece, shipped, with a story attached.

Coming Soon — The Wood-Fired Tier
Ana is the wood kiln I’ve been building on the Creek Road property. When she’s firing reliably, I’m planning a wood-fired tier of the Collectors Club. Ana kiln pieces only. Different price. Very limited spots.
Members of the current club hear about it first. If you want to be first in line for Ana’s inaugural firing — this is where you start.
What Gets Sent Each Quarter
Each quarter’s piece reflects the season and whatever work is coming out of the studio. Members receive something from the current body of work — not seconds, not leftovers. The good stuff. The pieces worth collecting.
Past and planned pieces have included: wood-fired shave bowls, stoneware mugs, functional bowls, bonsai pots, and specialty forms from the gas and wood kilns.

Creek Road Pottery LLC is a working studio in Laceyville, Pennsylvania, operated by Alford D. Wayman. Al holds a BFA in Ceramics from Marywood University and has been making functional stoneware for more than twenty years.
Every piece is made by hand, fired in Al’s studio, and shipped with a signed certificate of authenticity and a handwritten note. No mass production. No imported work. Just clay, fire, and honest craft next to a cold Pennsylvania creek.
